Why an Enrolled Agent?
An Enrolled Agent (EA) is a federally licensed tax professional with the highest credential the IRS awards. EAs are required to pass a comprehensive exam on individual and business tax, and must complete continuing education in tax law every year.
Unlike CPAs, who may focus on auditing, accounting, or other areas, Enrolled Agents specialize exclusively in taxation. That means my focus is on helping you stay compliant, reduce risk, and make tax-smart decisions year-round.
Not all tax preparers — and not all CPAs — are authorized to represent you before the IRS. As an EA, I am. Whether you need help preparing a return or responding to a notice, you’re working with someone who’s trained, tested, and recognized by the IRS to speak on your behalf.
